The designs with single tube and double tube plates prevent the media from becoming mixed in the event of a leak in the tube / tube plate weld joint and are in compliance with FDA (Food and Drug Association) and CMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements.
This technology is primarily used in the pharmaceutical and food industries. With the use of surface refined materials and the special structural design we can guarantee that the heat exchangers can be drained and sterilised completely. We place special emphasis on careful design and selection of the vessel flange seals.
Special care is used in the design of the seals. Even under vacuum conditions the seals must be absolutely tight to prevent the introduction of germs through air leakage. If required the surfaces of the product chamber can be electro-polished to a roughness of Ra < 0,4 µ.
For installation in clean rooms a gas-tight welded insulation can be provided. These heat exchangers are mainly used in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries in the manufacture of a wide variety of advanced products, particularly cosmetics and drugs in liquid form.
